Nanhe Blue and White Dragon Fish Pot d40 with a shallow domed lidThese exquisite, oversized jars feature a prominent 'tianlong' celestial dragon, a symbol of the emperor and of imperial might. The jars have four lion head handles and a lid topped with a temple lion, revered as a guardian in Chinese culture. Handcrafted in Jingdezhen, the traditional hub of porcelain production in China for centuries, the jars are beautifully crafted by hand on a traditional potter's wheel. The rich blue tones against the white base
