The wines produced from thirty five year old vines planted over volcanic sandstone, with the grapes macerated as a mix of whole bunches and destemmed grapes for eleven days, before being pressed to a combination of old barrels and vats for a year of ageing. With its enticing combination of red berries, earth and spice, this is Alsatian Pinot at its best.
