紗綾形は卍を連ねた柄で、「卍崩し」とも呼ばれます。「不断長久（家の繁栄が永く続くこと）」の意味を持つ吉祥文様で、江戸時代、武将の指物（旗や飾り）の生地に施されることもありました。
