Smithfield 1 (St Bart’s) reserved Of the hundreds of Adams’
Description
Of the hundreds of Adams’ paintings I’ve seen over the decades this yellow explosion of sunflowers is the one I wanted to own
This portrait is stylistically similar to her celebrated 1941 portrait of the young Gloria Vanderbilt
which was square-tigged on the fore-mast
This painting was exhibited at The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts in 1915
taken by John Rawlings
