Vintage Japanese Iron Ikebana Vase Mikazuki Crescent Moon 8" Glossy Top = 17" Middle =This is a vintage Japanese ikebana vase called a Mikazuki Kabin (Crescent Moon vase). This vase was used in a tokonoma (alcove in a traditional Japanese home) to display flowers. It is made of a heavy iron and has a grass seed head swaying in the breeze. It has a ring for hanging the vase. This vase measures 10" in diameter by 3" wide (25 x 8 cm). Having been used lovingly for over nearly a century it remains in good condition. Quite a heavy piece of
