Rosso, 2021 hamper Low alcoholThis is a luxurious red with a bit more brightness and complexity than vintages gone by with assertive tannins. Its a masterful combo of Nero dAvola and Frappato that have thrived in sandstone and clay hills. A direct product of Sicilian countryside, it can stand up to the kind of hearty peasant dishes of inland Sicily; deep tomato, briney anchovy, breadcrumbs golden with olive oil. I mean, come on.
