I've made some little 'necklaces' with small elephants and a red wood rabbit and strung them between the handle

Miniature Red Silk Georgian Slipper Brooch Handbeaded painted wooden owl cunningly disguisedThis little antique red slipper with it's tiny cream tassle is really old. It is handmade and was used to hold a thimble back in the Georgian times when many ladies did a lot of sewing. I have in turn, sewn it onto an oval background and edged with beads to give it a new lease of life as a brooch as it's far too pretty to be hidden away in a cupboard, sewing box or dawer.
