Antique Japanese Edo Era 19th Century Imari Ceramic Plate 8.75" Banner Vintage Japanese silk Kimono inThis is an antique Japanese late Edo Era (mid 19th century) imari plate hand painted in bold colors. This plate measures 8 3 4" in diameter by 1 1 4" tall (24 x 3 cm). Having been in storage for most of the past century this plate remains in very fine condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Some wear on of the gilding helps age the piece and show it's authenticity as do the kiln flaws shown in the photos. Various traditional hand painted motifs
