Lattice Carved Window Panel w170 balanced design of our doubleGansu, circa 1900 This unusual wall panel is made up of eight rows of eight flowers, each indivdually carved and set within a thick outer frame. The panel is from Gansu province in western China, where it would originally have been fitted as one of several internal window panels. Today it would make a unique wall decoration, with the geometric pattern throwing unusual shadows on a wall when lit.
