Its really much closer to a 1959 Super Lead Circuit with a split cathode and TONS of gain. This is without doubt the loudest 100W amp I've ever heard, the gain kicks in pretty rapidly with the bright cap, but thats the tone. EQ isn't super responsive but using your guitar volume and the different channels cross talk you can get a few different sounds. 19 Direct
