Antique Japanese Meiji Era c1800's Bamboo Kago Ikebana Basket 16"H Kensui I t’s thin walls allowThis is an antique Japanese Kago basket from the Meiji era or late 1800's. Used in Ikebana flower arranging. Very intricately made with woven split bamboo. it includes a bamboo insert. It has been in storage for many decades and with the exception of a few broken bits of bamboo remains in good condition. It measures about Height = 16" (41cm) Diameter = 10" (25cm)
