Old Colour Map of South London in 1891 - Dulwich, Peckham Rye, Herne Hill, Forest Hill - SE24, SE22, SE21, SE23 Size:16x20in (40x50cm) which is now in QueenslandOriginally hailed as "the most perfect map of London that has ever been issued" by the Royal Geographical Society when it was published in 1862, it's safe to say that Edward's Stanford's library map of London was a masterpiece of cartography. This here is a beautifully handcoloured map from the 1891 edition of Stanford's map. The map was originally published in 24 sheets. Altogether the map would've measured about 2 metres wide (78 inches). This here
