Nature Medley One diptych and AmethystAcrylic paint, paper, and ink 4 x 6 image (8" x 10" matted and framed behind plexiglass) Nature Medley One is the first of a pair of companion paintings. It is a soothing abstract nature collage painting depicting the serene tones of wood, wool, and leaves. Patterns and textures are all around us. The nubby surface of a knitted sweater and the smooth feel of granite tile are but two examples. I have blended together my favorites in striped vignettes
