Made for military awards in the early Showa era c 1920's and 1930's. This says Chuyu "Loyalty" and has a makers mark "Yoshikawa". Pale blue with cherry blossoms and a gold rim. The foot of the cup is in the the traditional start shape for the military. Please see the photos for condition, no chips or hairlines. Diameter = 2. 25" Height = 1. 25"
