Wooden Laquer Kokeshi Head Box W/ Face Hand Painted & Lidded Cute Red Pink Buddhist Drawers were likely a midThis is a lidded wooden lacquer box in the shape of a kokeshi head. The face hair and flowers are all hand painted in colored lacquer. The makers mark can be seen on the bottom (see pic 7). This box remains in good condition. It measures 4 1 2" in diameter and 2 1 2" tall (10 x 6cm).
