Chiltern Teddy Bear Hand Puppet ~ 1950s Rare! Old lady tears on the costume thatFamed for its Hugmee Bears, Chiltern is a celebrated English toy maker. Taking its name from the Chiltern Hills of Buckinghamshire, the company crafted an array of Teddy Bears before closing its doors in the 1960s (later purchased by Chad Valley). This Teddy Bear Hand Puppet is one of their rare creations. Made from art silk plush with a head stuffed with excelsior (wood wool), this puppet presents an endearing look with glass eyes and Chiltern's
