In 1973, Craig Anderton and John Lang founded Seamoon, releasing the legendary Fresh Fuzz, their flagship fuzz pedal, in the same year. The original plastic casing was fragile, with the Bakelite pedal shattering when guitarists stepped on the switch with their feet, so Seamoon switched to a metal casing within a few months. Despite its questionable reputation for being "thin,"
