Antique Japanese c1900 Meiji Era Ceramic Imari Plate Phoenix & Floral 12" Plate It is framed behind glassThis is an antique late Meiji Era (c. 1900) Japanese Imari ceramic plate with a transfer print design of two mythical Phoenix amid foliage done in deep cobalt blue. A very auspicious design symbolizing virtue and grace and the Yin and Yang. This dish has a brown scalloped edge typical of a popular production design of the late Meiji era. It measures 12" in diameter by 1 1 4" tall. Having been in storage or carefully on display for over 100 years, with
