Home Thoughts Irish Castles Officially it’s named the Liffey
Description
Officially it’s named the Liffey Bridge but takes its more popular title from the toll charge that was originally paid to cross it
Some things just work better together
made all the more impressive when reflected on the still water
They seem to embody so many positive and noble characteristics - strength
It doesn't mean that we won't be bruised and scratched along the way but it does mean that we have a shot at contentment
Home Thoughts Irish Castles Officially it’s named the LiffeyThis piece is part of our 'Inspired by Ireland' series. I grew up listening to the Percy French song Mountains of Mourne. Its an evocative song and when you visit the Mourne Mountains you can see why. This painting tries to capture the natural beauty of the area which, one would understandably miss if living far away. The title for the piece comes from the Clifford T Ward song of the same name. Limited Edition print from an original work by Francis
