オランダ出身の写真家、アリ・マルコポロス（Ari Marcopoulos）が、東京で相撲を、京都で柔道を撮影した2つの写真シリーズをまとめた作品集『Sumo Judo』。 前者は2013年に東京の有名な相撲部屋である九重部屋にて、力士たちが休息し、稽古に励む姿を撮影したシリーズ。 後者は京都大学の体育館で柔道の練習をする学生たちを撮影しています。 ブックデザインは、アリ・マルコポロスとRoma Publicationsのロジャー・ヴィレムス（Roger Willems）によるもの。
