The old ironstone gravel soils of this subregion are well suited to viticulture and have proven this since we first planted in 1989. Very textural on the palate; it is delicately flavoured while still being quite complex. Theres a hint of cherry ripe along with dark berries and it has a fabulously long dry finish. Would be delicious with or without food."
