Antique Chinese Qing 19th Century Green & Pink Ginger Jar Hand Painted 8" Charger This is an antique JapaneseThis is a 19th century antique Chinese jar from the Qing Dynasty, mid to late 19th century. Recently acquired by from a local collector who lived and traveled all over Asia in the 1960's picking up treasures along the way. It is hand thrown and all hand painted in the classic cobalt underglaze. Decorated in a peony flower motif. The repeating ancient Chinese meander or "Greek fret" encircles the top of the jar and edge of the lid. The foot and mouth
