Rond Noir, 2019 over-50 CreteGrapes: LiatikoSampled on Easter Sunday, not a religious day in my calendar, but boy did I feel like something had risen whilst sipping this. Delicate, simple, elegant, refined, light, delicious, bloody fantastic. Hats off to Mr. Cohen, he's taken 3 classic grapes and created something mind blowing. The Syrah is the focus in this cuvee though, a smaller, old vineyard block of fruit with very tiny, concentrated berries. If you're into natural wine label trivia,
