BLOCKHEAD 5150 Pack - Kemper Profiles Cabinet IR Pack I went through my mic34 Direct Profiles Last year I managed to find a Peavey 5150 from the first year of production. Over time these have gained a kind of mythical status not for any particular reason as the circuit of the amp never changed throughout production. That said, I have compared extensively to my 6505, and while there shouldn't be any appreciable difference, there is some kind of magic in the older amp. Could it be just related to the age of the transformers?
