It dates to the Taisho Era. Suitable more for the winter season, its thick walls trap more heat during the fill winter months. It has a deep clear signature of the potter. This chawan measures 5 1 2" wide at its widest by 3" tall. Having been in storage for 70 years it remains in fine condition.
