G.D. Vajra: Coste di Rose Barolo DOCG 2019 Kierdorf and a hint of briocheCoste di Rose is a small vineyard at 320 meters elevation between Cannubi and Bussia. The vines face southeast. Here we mainly have sandy soils with a bit of alluvial sand and clay. These are Vajras sandiest soils, and Giuseppe Vajra says a walk through the vineyard actually feels like a walk on the beach! These sandy soils naturally contribute to the magnificent finesse and aromatic diversity of Coste di Rose. This is followed by a 20 month aging
