This grooved vase is still hand blown and hand shaped in front of the smelter's furnace today. In the 1930s, Bauhaus designers also worked with the glassblowers in Lauscha. The timelessly beautiful and simple design influenced the glassblowers and so the glassblowers of the time created this functional vase, inspired by the Bauhaus.
