Deep ruby red with a violet edge, intensely aromatic with ripe and meaty red cherries on the nose. Followed by spicy notes like cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate, powerful, smooth, and surprisingly long. Its clearly defined acidity keeps it fresh and pleasantly distinct from the often overly sweet, jammy Primitivo varieties commonly offered.
