The hand picked organic grapes for Preisinger's Blaufrnkisch come from various locations at the northern end of Lake Neusiedl. The soils in these locations are made of fossil limestone and limestone sandstone, which are shaped by the primordial sea. The grapes are harvested by hand in October.
