Mauro Veglio: Barolo Gattera 2019 Bos Food Blanc des Blancs Champagner ausThe Gattera vineyard is located below the famous old Lebanon Cedar in Annunziata. Mauro's 1 hectare property lies on the border between the villages of La Morra and Castiglione Falletto, meaning two different soils meet here: sandy, calcareous soil typical of La Morra and compact blue marl from Castiglione. The result is a dense, complex, powerful Barolo with balsamic, spicy, and alcoholic notes. On the palate, dark fruits, spices, tobacco,
