Tua Rita: Keir 2017 Schlumberger 40% Meunier und 20% ChardonnayThe vines are trained in double cordon on clay soils right next to the site of the exclusive Per Sempre Syrah. They were planted in 2004, Per Sempre already in 1998. Vinification takes place for 6 months in amphorae, with full skin contact. After that, the wine is pressed and then aged for another four to five months in three to four year old French barriques, followed by a few more months of bottle aging. "Keir" means "handcrafted" in Ancient Greek.
