A First War 3Rd Canadian Infantry Battalion "Toronto Battalion" Armband Hold which he received on OctoberRed felt rectangular with the number "3" screen printed in black ink in the centre, surmounted by a green felt triangle, both pieces sewn in place upon a black felt base, the ends sewn together on the reverse, 85 mm x 160 mm, extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Toronto with mobilization headquarters at Camp Valcartier, Quebec under the authority of P. C. O. 2067, August 6, 1914.
