In silver, obverse shows portrait of Queen Victoria facing left, reverse shows marching and mounted soldiers with arms with an elephant carrying a cannon, clasps on original striped ribbon from Kandahar, Kabul, Charasia, and Peiwar Kotal, rim of the medal engraved with the recipient's rank, name and unit (1088 Serg[t] G.
