Two piece construction, consisting of silver Stahlhelm logo mounted onto a silver and black enameled round base, the reverse with a screw back assembly originally consisting of two thin threaded studs with a space bar and two nuts, officially engraved VI. No. 44., A, 6. 1. 1919, and marked STH and Ges. Gesch. on the reverse, measuring 34. 82 mm in diameter, weighing 14. 1 grams, the reverse screw back assembly only
