A Rare House and Merit Order of Peter Frederick Louis, Commander’s Cross with Crown and Swords Stick Pin Miniature c. 1915 Republic of comprising Order Pour-le-Merite(Oldenburger Haus und Verdienstorden, Komturkreuz mit Krone und Schwertern Anstecknadel). Instituted 27 November 1838 by Grand Duke Paul Friedrich August. (c. 1915 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting a Cross Patte, the obverse with white enameled arms, with a central blue enameled disc bearing a gilt monogram of Grand Duke Peter Frederick Louis, within a ring of red enamel bearing a gilt inscription of E. GOTT,
