Germany, Heer. A Krim Shield, by Friedrich Orth Province of China instituted 7 October 1736 by(Heer Krimschild). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting shield bearing a raised map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates 1941 1942, affixed with all four side clips to a backplate with a field grey wool liner (indicating Heer issue) and intact beige paper backer, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Friedrich Orth, Vienna,
