Accompanied by a black and white portrait of Sgt. Major Richards wearing the medal, contained in a silver frame with wood reverse plate, measures 155mm (w) x 218mm (h) x 13mm (d), silver hallmarks on the side of the frame denoting S. Blanckanesee & Sons
