Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse bearing a double stamped inscription of AUSB. U. ERS. BTL. LETT. SS FRW. DIV. (AUSBILDUNGS UND ERSATZ BATAILLON LETTISCHE FREIWILLIGEN DIVISION), the reverse double stamped with an identity number of 903, measuring 70 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), demonstrating loss of finish and oxidation throughout, in very fine condition.
