Norway, Kingdom. An Order of St. Olav, II Class Commander by J. Tostrup, c.1920 Newly Listed June 11 1917 - “saw(Den Kongelige Norske Sankt Olavs Orden). Instituted in 1847. In silver gilt, a white enamel Maltese Cross with ball finials, a crowned O in each quadrant, the obverse medallion features a rampant lion holding an axe on a red enamel field with a white, blue, white ring exterior, the reverse medallion presents the inscription RET OG SANDHED, the cross is surmounted by a crown with white, red, and blue enamel features, measures 63. 5 mm (w) x 89. 7 mm
