Greece, Kingdom. A Royal Navy Campaign Cross 1940-1945 Hold 1900 - May 9Bronze gilt, 32 mm x 58 mm inclusive of its crown suspension, original ribbon, light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The cross was established in 1943 and was awarded to officers, petty officers and sailors on the Royal Hellenic Navy, who served more than six months aboard ship, participating in naval battles or naval operations during the Second World War. It came in three grades: Gold (gilt) for officers, Silver (silvered) for petty officers
