A silver Maltese cross with white enameled arms; the obverse with a center white enameled medallion depicting the Saxon crowned royal monogram, surrounded by a silver ring; the reverse with a similar white enameled medallion, inscribed Fr Verdiesnt und Treue (German For Merit and Loyalty) within a laurel wreath; on a loop for suspension from its period original with a paper collectors tag
