This wine, from the the Duclaux brothers, is a classic Cte Rtie; it's fresh and dense with peppery notes, smoke and a long spicy finish. This estate was established in 1928 by Benjamin and David's grandfather. Production is small (only 3,000 cases) from their 5. 8 hectares, but their focus is clearly on quality authenticity.
