Germany, Heer. An Officer’s Dress Dagger, by Carl Eickhorn consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac 1938) in zink(Heer Dolch fr Offiziere). A very well preserved Heer Officers dress dagger, measuring 40 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 26 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to both the edges and tip. The reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of ORIGINAL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN, circumscribing the firms classic logo of a squirrel clutching a sword. It sits securely within a nickel plated
