Alfano, Franco - Signed Photograph Conductors shown as Tonio in PagliacciItalian composer (1875 1954) and pianist, best known for his opera "Rizurrezione" and for having completed Puccini's "Turandot" in 1926, though having considerable success with several of his own works during his lifetime. Beautiful black and white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment; ink stamped on verso by photographer Giacomelli, Venice, Italy. Size is 7 x 9. 4 inches, in very good condition.
