Grapes were destemmed and cofermented on skins with wild yeast

with enough freshness to keep it all light on its feet

fine but tensing on the mid-palate with a purple floral flourish on the exit

followed by very ripe apricot and vanilla

Jul 25) rheingau like La GranachaThis is the third release of Eglys sole Chardonnay dominant cuve and its the first release to include three vintages in the blend. The wine is drawn from a plot of vines on the south facing slopes of Bisseuil, a village just to the east of the famous Grand Cru communes of A and Mareuil sur A. While these two latter villages are renowned for Pinot Noir, Bisseuil is more known for Chardonnay; its the only village in the area that has more Chardonnay
