Four piece construction, in silvered zinc with red patination, measuring 56. 7 mm (w) x 53. 3 mm (h), vertical pinback, overall silvering loss, scattered wear in the red patination, surface wear, better than fine. Footnote: The Gallipolli Star was a military decoration awarded by the Ottoman Empire. It is also known as the Ottoman War Medal. It was instituted by Sultan Mehmed V on March 1, 1915 for gallantry in
