Algeria, People's Democratic Republic. A National Order Of Merit, Knight, C.1985 United Republic of (1935-1942 issue)(Ordre du Mrite National, Chevalier). Instituted in 1984. In bronze gilt, maker marked "AB" (Arthus Bertrand) within a starburst frame on the reverse, measuring 48 mm (w) x 72. 3 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath suspension, very light contact, original ribbon, near extremely fine.
