A well preserved city of Bremen Municipal Police shako, constructed of a black vulcanfibre canister with a faux leather exterior finish. It is topped by a flattened black polished adornment which is secured in place around the circumference by machine stitching. The sides are flanked by dual non ferrous mesh ventilation holes. Pinned onto the peak of the shako is an insignia consisting of a silvered bronze starburst
