Constructed of coppered and blackened bronze, horizontal pinback, obverse presents with a central raised swastika surrounded by the inscriptions GAUTAG OSTHANNOVER (Gau Day East Hannover) and IM JARHE DER NATIONALSOZIAL. EHRBUNG (In the Year of the National Socialist Rising) while the top displays a Hanoverian Horse and the date 1933, unmarked, measuring 53. 5 mm (h) x 42 mm (w), in extremely fine condition.
