Germany, Ss. A Latvian Legion Identity Disc Archive 1883 in Glasgow(Lettische SS Verbnde Erkennungsmarke). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse bearing a double stamped inscription of AUSB. U. ERS. BTL. LETT. SS FRW. DIV. (AUSBILDUNGS UND ERSATZ BATAILLION LETTISCHE FREIWILLIGEN DIVISION), the reverse double stamped with an identity number of 899, measuring 70 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), demonstrating loss of finish and oxidation throughout, in very fine condition.
